Steve and Hamish

The guys over at Royal Perth had the strange scenario during their Gen Med rotation of having elective students from Scotland join their team!

We've all met Steve and Hamish now, hung out with them a fair bit, and shown them a bit about what happens in Perth. I'll be uploading some pics soon once I've gotten my computer problem fixed (it screws up the broadband if I connect my computer).

But they leave today, having had a pretty good five weeks in Perth I would say. They're off to New Zealand for what should be a really good holiday.

The best bit about meeting them (apart from being really nice guys) is that we'll be able to catch up again once we go over to the UK. Steve has even volunteered to take us skiing if the weather is right!

Elective Meeting

We had another meeting tonight, discussing our Perth electives (apparently we need to get the paperwork done by the end of the week), accommodation in Europe and also in Edinburgh itself. We also ironed out a few issues in our Europe itinerary - ie the inclusion of Venice, the cutting back of time in Rome and cutting out Milan altogether.

Things are moving along nicely.
